Description
4 ounces of specially formulated detergent suitable for washing of woolskins.
This is a tannery-grade (used in our tannery) detergent that leaves no residue behind after washing.
Instructions: Fill bathtub or large vessel about halfway with lukewarm (not hot) water, add all 4 oz of detergent to the water and stir to a bubble. Insert sheepskin to water and ensure fleece is fully submerged, moving the skin back and forth in the water. Pull and drain repeatedly until the water does not get any more dirty. Then rinse with fresh water until the water runs clear. Dry on a rack with a fan blowing over it, stretch as it dries. This detergent will remove almost all the lanolin from the fleece, and should be replaced using our Lanolin Spray.
